Who owns the copyright to my mascot?
You do! When you commission mascot design from MascotArtist, we provide you with unlimited republishing rights to your character. It's yours, forever, to use however you like!

How long will it take before I receive my mascot?
Generally you should expect to receive a preliminary sketch of your mascot within 48 hours after you place your order. This would be the best time to make suggestions and comments on the design, as well as any changes you have in mind. If you have no other suggestions, your character will be inked and colored to your specifications, and once payment is received, you will receive your final mascot!

Can I order additional poses of my mascot?
Of course! Additional mascot poses can be ordered for only $99 each! That's well over half off the regular price! Simply log in to the
Client's Area with the username and password you received when you ordered your first mascot. You'll be taken to a page where you can order additional poses of the same mascot.
If you forgot your username or password, contact us - We'll verify your original order and send you the new login information.

What kinds of materials can I use my mascot on?
Your mascot is scanned at the highest quality resolution (600+ dots-per-inch for you graphic designers), so that you can use it on virtually anything! We've had many clients print their mascots on clothing, turn them into promotional giveaways, and even paint them on the company van! The possibilities are endless!

Can you create a costume for my mascot?
While we don't specifically create the character costumes, we highly recommend
Mascot.org, an organization that features professionally trained mascot actors in roles ranging from children's programs to community events and corporate sponsorships. They also have contacts in the costume tailoring industry to ensure that your character is created just right!

What's the difference between a mascot and a logo?
Your logo is the symbol or text that exemplifies your company (for example, McDonalds' "Golden Arches" or the Nike swoosh). It is the core of your business or organization, and is meant to be both recognizable and memorable in the eyes of your customers.

A mascot is an extension of your logo (think Ronald McDonald or the Geico gecko). It takes all the strengths that your company wants to project to consumers, and embodies them in a unique character. Think of a logo as your business card. You want to pass it out to everyone, but many people will forget it after a short time. On the other hand, your mascot can be considered your virtual business partner - working tirelessly to build up your company's products and services in the minds of customers. A memorable character that showcases your company's best strengths will stay in your customer's mind long after a business card tucked away in a drawer.

What file format(s) will my final mascot be delivered as?
Your final mascot will be delivered as a high quality JPEG file (best for multiple colors and shading). If you are a graphic designer commissioning mascot work, you can also request the native .PSD (Adobe Photoshop) file.

How will my mascot be delivered to me?
Sketches and revisions (if any) will be sent entirely via e-mail. The final version of the character can also be sent via e-mail, but larger files (for print use) will be copied onto CD and shipped to you via U.S. Priority Mail. You should expect to receive your CD within 3-5 days (within the U.S.) and 5-10 days (Internationally). Please note that shipping costs will apply.

What if I'm not happy with the work? Do you offer refunds?
While we've never had to issue one, we do have a refund policy in place. See our
Terms of Service page for more information.
